The free speed test

The speed test is free and shows public data from Google about how fast a store loads for real shoppers. It is for information only. It can be incomplete or out of date, and it is not a guarantee of anything.

Please don't run it automatically or in bulk. Excessive use is blocked.

What you get with the speed audit

The price is agreed with you before I start and paid once through Stripe. After payment, I review your store's public pages and send you a link to a report page and a video walkthrough within 3 days.

I don't need access to your store, passwords or apps, and I don't change anything on your store.

The report explains what slows your store down and what to fix. It is advice, not a promise of a specific speed, score or sales result, because the outcome depends on how the fixes are done and on things outside my control, like apps and your theme.

Refunds

You get a full refund if:

• I haven't started your audit yet, or
• Your report isn't delivered within 3 days of payment

Once the report is delivered on time, the audit is complete and not refundable. To ask for a refund, use the contact form.

If you hire me for the fix

If you hire me to fix what the audit finds, what you paid for the audit is taken off the price of that work. Fix work is agreed separately, with its own price and scope, before it starts.

Your report

The report is yours to use for your store: fix it yourself, hand it to your developer or hire someone else. It is shared as a link and not listed publicly or used as a case study without your permission.

Sample audits on this site, like the Olipop one, are made from public data about stores that did not hire me, and are labeled that way.

Liability

As far as the law allows, my total liability for the audit is limited to the amount you paid for it. I'm not responsible for lost sales or other indirect losses, or for changes made to your store based on the report.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date. An audit you already bought stays under the terms from the day you paid.
