How the test works

  1. We check it's a Shopify store. We read your home page and look for Shopify's code. If it isn't Shopify, the test stops there.
  2. We find your key pages. Your home page, your best selling product (from your store's own best selling sort) and a collection from your main menu. If we can't find one, you can paste a link yourself.
  3. We pull real visitor data. Google collects speed data from real Chrome users. We show the last 28 days on mobile, for your whole store and for each page.
  4. We grade each page. A page passes only when every score it has data for is good. Pages with too few visitors show "not enough data" instead of a guess.
